Carignan Blanc

« Sous La Montagne » (or under the mountain) because the vines are located on the foothills of the Pyrenees, on the granite ground of Fenouillèdes. Harvested by hand, vinified and matured in tanks.

A rare wine because there are practically no Carignan Blanc and even less Carignan Gris left, especially planted on granite ground.

Grape varieties

Carignan Blanc / Carignan Gris

Origin

France / Languedoc

Nuance, aroma & taste

Pale yellow with silver reflections.

Greedy on notes of white fruits, wet chalk and lemon zest.

Round, ample, very fresh and refreshing. The finish is tonic, finely lemony, with a slight astringency that is pleasantly salivating.

Pairing

Appetizers, summer salads, grilled fishes.
