I’d like to say that Pomerol is my « home away from
home », where it all began my relationship with wine.
This « Blue » version is closer to the traditional modern Pomerol, with a longer fermentation period than I would have allowed myself for any other vintage...
90% Merlot / 10% Cabernet-Franc
Intense
and brilliant garnet color with black highlights.
Notes
of ripe red and black fruits (black cherry, blackberry
redcurrant and spices.
Well
constructed and full on the palate with well controlled
tannins, calling for delicious cuisine!
Classic
pairings with fine cuts of meat such as grilled veal
rump with morel mushrooms for example.
Serve between 16 and 18°C.
Aging potential: At least 20 years.
