Nuance, aroma & taste
Dark translucent ruby red.
The nose, after a good aeration, expresses with delicacy notes of candied red fruits, spices and toast.
The mouth is round, full, with a finely aerial material that caresses the palate. It reveals a depth and a freshness certainly indebted to the old vines.
The finish is intense while remaining subtle, with a touch of mocha and more mineral flavours (wet chalk, salt). A sober Carignan but classy.
