This estate belongs to the Menard-Durand family since the 18th century. Completely replanted over the past 25 years by Madame Menard de Ginestous.

Nuance, aroma & taste

Garnet red.

Aromas of black cherry, spices.

Fresh, intense and concentrated. Round and fruity, with notes of liquorice and blackberry. Fruity finish. A baffling delight which is extremely easy to drink.

Made-to-measure for all sorts of improvised aperitifs, mixed grills, both red meat and poultry...

Cuvée à l'italienne - Sangiovese

For a few years now, the Corbières have taken on a Tusacan air, a few fields of wheat surrounded by vines, cypresses, trellised vines; only the grape variety was missing.Sangiovese by Jeff Carrel, these are the Corbières with an Italian accent, matured and vinified without sulphites, like a mamma who would take care of the whole family.

Nuance, aroma & taste

Dark garnet with purple reflexions.

The nose is fine, complex, with notes of raspberry, cherry stones, sweet spices and a slighty toasted aroma.

On the palate it is round, ample, airy with fine, fresh and fruity matter. The finish has a fine chewiness to it, on the persistent taste of cocoa beans and with a subtle bitterness.

Pairing

Antipasti or antipasto (cooked Italian appetizers), pasta, pizzas, chicken liver skewers, grilled lamb …

Serve between 16 and 17°C
Aging potential: At least 5 years.

LES MAMETTES

Les Mamettes

Les Mamettes, are these hunchbacked grandmothers with highlights in their hair who tell us the story of the Catalan region. They are also the knotted trunks of Grenache and Carignan vines that have for decades produced VDN (naturally sweet wines) and Rancio Sec (dry fortified wines). The fruit of these very old vines are used today to produce the great white wines of the Roussillon.

A way of making something new and modern from something old !

Nuance, aroma & taste

A nuance that catches the eye with pale bright reflections.

The noise is of white flowers and the countryside besides the sea, but remains discrete and very fresh.

Fresh and lightly salted on the palate but does not lack depth. Once again aromas of lemon, citrus and pineapple with a perfect acidity after-taste.

Pairing

For aperitifs, with a selection of shellfish, weel-salted cured ham and wafer thin parmesan or manchego cheese, or with main dishes such as snails or veal’s head. In short this wine will pair well with a wide selection of your favourite dishes…

Nuance, aroma & taste

Deep crimson.

Fruits (tomatoes,…) and spices (balsamic,…).

Cherry kirsch, wild herbs, liquorice, exotic spices. Medium bodied and voluptuous with a slight pearly effect which gives a light and airy side to the wine (airy is perhaps pushing it a bit), but in any case greedy!

Pairing

Mixed grills,red and white meats...
