Vieille Mule Rouge

Easily labelled, because the emblem for the Catalans is the mule, and old because the vines are old, but quite simply because the mule’s head looks great on the bottles!

France / Roussillon / Case de Pêne / Vallée de l’Agly

Nuance, aroma & taste

Deep crimson. Fruits (tomatoes,…) and spices (balsamic,…).

Cherry kirsch, wild herbs, liquorice, exotic spices.

Medium bodied and voluptuous with a slight pearly effect which gives a light and airy side to the wine (airy is perhaps pushing it a bit), but in any case greedy!

Pairing

Mixed grills, white meats...

Serve between 13°C
Aging potential: At least 5 years.

Villa Des Anges Red Blend Reserve Magnum

Red Blend Réserve

This blend comes from a plot with old silt and siliceous clay soil, under the influence of the Mediterranean climate refreshed by sea winds. Ripe and intense grapes, Jeff Carrel has maximised the vinification and maturation to create race and depth for this wine.

60% Cabernet Sauvignon / 30% Merlot / 10% Syrah

Origin

France

Nuance, aroma & taste

Garnet red veering towards purple.

Expressive, with creamy notes of black fruits such as blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry and sweet spices.

Slender in the mouth, prolonged by a fine acidity, but wrapped up in a round, velvety and charming matter. Combines blackberry cream with toasted spices and vanilla. The finish is tonic, with a substance that gains in concentration and tannins. Harmonious, coherent, well balanced.

Pairing

For all improvised aperitifs, grilled meats (red and white)...

« Les Darons » (meaning fathers) is a wine which is representative of western« Les Darons » (meaning fathers) is a wine which is representative of westernLanguedoc: the most southern wine region in France, based mainly on Grenacheplanted on clay and limestone soils.

70% Grenache / 20% Syrah / 10% Carignan

Nuance, aroma & taste

Deep red with glints of purple.

Deep red with glints of purple.Hints of red fruit yoghurts, and with aeration fruits such as plums,blueberries and blackberries combined with cinnamon and whitepepper spices.

Combines amplitude and stress with a dense and silky matter. Maturetannins which easily pass thanks to the fruit and its freshness.

Powerful, full-bodied and luscious with numerous but not over-bearingspices finishing with menthol resinous notes.

Barbecues, red and white meats, a red wine for all occasions…
