DSM Wines

Domaine d'Ansignan

In Ansignan, at the very end of Occitanie, perched on top of a mountain, everything was to be ripped out, become wood for fires after 150 years of human passion, to become purely the refuge for joggers, mountain bikers, hikers and firefighters.

Buy the vineyards, the land, employ people to look after the vines, the low stone walls, the paths, the huts, the flowers, the birds, the village school, the local bar, and why not a flock of livestock, herb gardens and beehives.

“DSM” to preserve what has been lost elsewhere.

Benjamin Darnault

Benjamin Darnault

If you have crossed paths with the ego of a chef, you cannot imagine that of a winemaker… Benjamin, is the complete opposite: reserved and always a good listener.

Perhaps because, not only has he vinified throughout the Mediterranean arc, he has also travelled a lot around the world.
He is also one of the pioneers for organic wines in the Languedoc Roussillon, in charge of operations at the Château Maris at La Livinière (11).

Having rubbed shoulders with “nature”, he understands what we owe to it and what we should give back it. Jeff owes him a lot too, however he doesn’t want to rub shoulders with him…!

Sous La Montagne

Sous La Montagne

The "Sous la Montagne" project showed us the importance of safeguarding our wine heritage and we also knew that we were not the only ones to think this way. So we decided to do the same for others who like us defend their viticultural heritage and practices, and thought it would be interesting for you to discover these wines from other “terroirs” too.

More often than not, the vines are relatively old and in extreme situations, harvested by hand, more or less vinified whole-harvest and with no wood.

A certain idea of happiness…

Grange Madame

Grange Madame
